Front-End Developer

Amsterdam / Hybrid / Already living in the Netherlands (32-40 hours)

Are you looking for a great opportunity to start with a challenging front-end role with impact on our society. You like to play a role in designing, implementing and maintaining robust and scalable Angular applications? Keep reading!

What are you going to do?

Join our dynamic and innovative team at Gezond.nl, an online healthcare platform where we support and enhance the efficiency of healthcare professionals. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Angular developer to contribute to the development of our web applications. You are a true Angular wizard and more than familiar with the npm registry.

You have a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable Angular applications. You join one of our two primarily backend-focused teams and collaborate with other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals.

Recently, we have migrated our main patient application to an NX based monorepo. We would like to expand on this architecture for our other solutions. Additionally, we are in the process of migrating some applications from Aurelia to the latest version of Angular and maintaining our other existing applications.

And of course there is plenty of room to have fun!

The Digital Healthcare department of Arts en Zorg Groep creates solutions for consumers, patients, and healthcare professionals, combining self-care, digital care, and physical care. Our products consist of secure and scalable digital care environments. You will support the development and innovation of Digital Care through front-end development and design:

  • Develop in a modern Angular/NX environment and maintain it.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers, debug front-end issues, and assist colleagues with bug fixes.
  • Optimize the performance of the tools and make them scalable.

Where will you be working?

You will join a team of 6 developers, supported by our PO and 2 UX-ers. Main focus of our team is development of the backend services used for the Gezond.nl tooling. But we also provide a fair challenge in our frontend components. We have a modern, quiet and spacious office in Amsterdam Buitenveldert. Of course, a lot of our developers work hybrid. But we try to agree on common days at the office for catching up and fun.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's or master's degree and preferably an education in an ICT-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Broad knowledge of front-end development and experience with SPAs, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and implementing RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • You are curious, enjoy sharing knowledge, and working closely with a close-knit team.
  • Fluent in English and/or Dutch, and residing in the Amsterdam area. We don’t offer relocation at this time.

What we offer

We trust in your expertise. Here’s what you can expect in return:

  • Ample opportunities for personal growth and development through attention and coaching.
  • A gross monthly salary ranging from € 3506,- to € 4950,- based on a 38-hour workweek.
  • An annual bonus of 8.33% and 8% holiday pay.
  • Initially, you will sign a temporary contract for 32 to 38 hours per week, with the intention of establishing a long-term working relationship. We emphasize work-life balance and offer the possibility of hybrid working.
  • Excellent additional benefits, such as travel expense reimbursement and 25 vacation days and 10 PLB hours. Plus, an outstanding pension plan where 50% of the premium is paid by the employee and 50% by the Arts en Zorg group.
  • Enjoyable events such as our annual company outing, training day, and winter sports trip.
